Job Summary:

Seismos, Inc. is seeking a driven Business Development Engineer with pipeline integrity experience to join our sales team. In this role, you'll be on the front lines, connecting with clients and showcasing our Pipeline Predictive Health Monitoring (PPHM™) service. We’re looking for someone who knows the midstream market, understands pipeline integrity challenges, and has the sales skills to drive results.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively pursue and close sales opportunities for Seismos’ PPHM™ service by engaging with technical decision-makers in the midstream sector.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with key clients, understanding their technical challenges in pipeline integrity.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations, clearly articulating how PPHM™ addresses specific operational and integrity issues.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to tailor proposals and create compelling, value-driven sales pitches.
  • Analyze customer data and feedback to optimize sales strategies and refine service offerings based on technical requirements.
  • Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and competitor products to effectively position Seismos’ solutions.
  • Represent Seismos at technical conferences, trade shows, and industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by aligning Seismos’ technical capabilities with client needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in pipeline integrity or related technical roles within the midstream sector.
  • Proven success in technical sales or business development with a focus on pipeline integrity solutions.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline monitoring, inspection technologies, and integrity management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clients.
  • Self-starter with a strong drive to close deals and expand market reach.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for client visits and industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Technically proficient with hands-on experience in pipeline integrity and monitoring technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and translate technical features into sales benefits.
  • Ability to manage technical sales cycles, including proposal development and contract negotiation.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets in a technical environment.
